Angels around Us

Angels are often not seen,
but rather felt or heard or sensed.
People recount a shifting color
in the atmosphere, a dream,
a clarifying thought,
a surge of superhuman strength.
Sometimes only visible
is the tip of a sword or
a muscular arm flung out protectively.
